Graham CourtneyLEWISPeacefully on, Feb 17, 2016 at Prince Charles Hospital, Graham, aged 88 years, passed away; beloved husband of Betty, much loved Dad to Ruth and David, father-in-law to Dave and Becky and adored grandfather of Helen. Peter, Vivienne, Ashley, Daniel, Jac and Luke. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Graham was originally from Fothergills Rd and Elliotstown, New Tredegar, before moving to Monmouth Walk, Markham. He worked as a Miner in Markham Colliery and thereafter became an Ambulance Man for the Gwent Ambulance Service. Resting in Parkside Funeral Home, Rhymney until the Funeral Service on Monday Feb 29, 2016 at Markham Congregational Chapel 12 noon followed by interment at Bedwellty Cemetery at 1pm. Immediate family flowers only are desired and donations will be greatly appreciated for the Chapel Fund at the Service or c/o. Mrs. Hilary Rowlands, 39 Bryn Rd, Markham, Blackwood.
